Richmond YP was founded in 1999 as an elite non-profit organization. Since our inception, we have helped countless young professionals build their networks to strengthen their businesses, careers and community relationships.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support the Urban League Movement through our volunteerism, philanthropy, and membership development that is focused around the National Urban League pillars of education, health, economic power, leadership and racial justice.

OUR VISION

"Richmond YP will be an impactful force serving our community; curating spaces for young professionals to connect, cultivate, and empower.”

“YP first and foremost has provided me the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with like-minded young black people. The mission and vision has created opportunities to be a true impact player in a number of areas which are directly relevant to issues that affect black communities. Furthermore, it has given me the privilege of leadership and allowed me to use my talents for a worthwhile endeavor.”
